Google Ads will stop Expanded Text Ads (ETA) in June 2022

In July 2022, digital marketing agency Indonesia will no longer be able to create new ETAs (Expanded Text Ads) or edit existing ETAs in Google Ads. The existing expanded text ads will continue to serve alongside Responsive Search Ads, and can still see reports on ads performance going forward. But the ads can be paused, resumed, or removed if needed. On the other side, you can still be able to create and edit Call Ads and Dynamic Search Ads.

Responsive Search Ads will now be the default ads type to create Google Search Ads campaigns.

The change in default ad type from Expanded Text Ads to Responsive Search Ads means that when you click to make a new ad, there are now only two options: Responsive Search Ads or Call Ads.
