As Facebook and Instagram company, Meta is currently reported in developing a new type of digital ads which could rely on less user data for retargeting ad campaign. The ad will be measured by basic metrics, such as engagement and video views (for video ads).

This changes is impacted of the release of iOS 14 on last September 2020 that allow iPhone users to opt-out of having their data collected. Because of that, the ad revenue is expected to have a big loss.

Not only that, this type of ad is guarantee that Meta will give the best privacy for user and enhancing technology to provide an accurate data for retargeting and measurement.
